If your field is starting to get too large for you to efficiently farm, you can use some of the helpful tools that were added by the Farmville developer Zynga. You may need to think about buying a vehicle if you are getting bored of ticking every little square of your field many times just to plow, plant and harvest. Vehicles allow you to work four times faster than your usual speed, offering you more time to enjoy your farm and less time hoeing your row. You should really consider buying a vehicle if you have expanded several times and have an enormous farm.
What Vehicles Are Available
In Farmville, you can purchase any of these four vehicles: Seeder, Harvester, Red Tractor and a Pink Tractor. With a big field, you will want one of each kind . Each of these vehicles will cost you 30,000 in Farm coins, so budget wisely. Pick the vehicle that allows you spend as little time as possible doing the thing you like least if you can only afford one.
What They Can Do For You
You can now plow, seed, or harvest four times faster with these nifty vehicles that you’ve just purchased. Each time you click you seed, harvest, or plow 4 squares at once since the vehicles affect a 2×2 square of field. Your field must be appropriate for this template, so make a big square or rectangular fields. These will be the easiest and most effective way to work with.
Their Shortcomings
These vehicles, superb as they are, do have one catch that can be irritating (and potentially expensive): They run out of fuel. In the lower left corner of your computer screen, observe the fuel gauge and watch as it gradually empties as you operate your vehicle. Your fuel is enough to plow 150 squares of field. When your fuel tank empties, you have two options. You can either wait 6.5 hours for your fuel tank to refill completely or you can spend Farm cash to purchase refills.
As always, the greatest bargain is purchasing the most refills—at 33 Farm Cash, you’re only paying .33 Farm Cash for every refill. If you’re going to go this route, you might as well make the big investment and get the best possible return. If you are setting aside your cash, however, just wait for your fuel tank to completely refill. If you have many crops going at the same time, try to strategize so that your fuel tank has time to fill up for the next harvest.
The Bottom Line
You ought to have vehicles when you expand your farm several times if you want to get lots of coins. How you control your fuel economy is up to you. Always make sure that you consider your aims for Farmville before buying an item. Keep in mind, you don’t have to spend your cash to get to the top, but sometimes it sure helps!
